Ill say again be sure to look at your motor mounts, they tend to push through the frame

Damn dude you have any bumpstops up front?? You'd have to fully compress the coilovers with a massive amount of force to break that top cap. Also, that much force is bound to tweak the LCA.

I've hit something like that several times. Pretty sure both my spindles are slightly bent because of it.

Was doing about 45 into a large G-out, in the dark and there was a rut in the bottom of it right at the upward transition. Felt like i hit a wall. Even stopped and checked everything out. My cam adjusters were swung all the way out up front and all the way in on the rear. I think that saved me from catastrophic suspension failure.

    Hope it buffs out ok.

Hopefully after repair, you don't push your truck beyond it's capabilities again!

She's all straight again!! Bent in 3 places. Front bumper pulled the frame horns down just a hair so that was pushed back up and reinforced with some small plates to support the bumper. The spacers on my rear bumpstops were removed to allow more up travel to help avoid this again. The frame at the rear bumps was straightened amd squared. Also the weight of the rear tiregate pulled the back end of the frame down and caused a bad droop on the rear bumper. All that is straight and sqaure again. Rear frame was plated with 3/8" plates for major reinforcment. Additional holes were drilled in the frame to allow extra hardware for the hitch and bumper for more support from the weight and during towing and recoveries. Total cost was $900

They gauged the rear axle and it is bent also. Driver side is negative 1.5° camber and passenger is negative 1.1° camber. Next weekend ill drop it back off at the same shop and they are going to get it back to 0° camber 0° toe. That'll be another $250 but its a hell of a lot better then replacing the whole housing.

    Pics coming later

    No more ripple

    20170819_182024.jpg

Bumper is lined up to the body now without a gap

    20170819_182039.jpg 20170819_182051.jpg

    Bed/cab gap is gone

    20170819_182102.jpg 20170819_182115.jpg

Front bumper is squared up and has propper gaps between the fender. Plate added on the frame horn where the bumper mounts to correct fitment and added support.

    20170819_182125.jpg 20170819_182152.jpg 20170819_182141.jpg

About a 1.5 foot long plate added on the weak spot of the frame. Didnt go with a full plate as it is not necessary for how i drive. This was just an accident. Plate is 3/8th thick and recessed about 1/2"

    20170819_182219.jpg 20170819_182204.jpg 20170819_182222.jpg

Lastly, the AllPro hitch has holes where hardware is meant to go, but it doesnt match up to any holes on the frame. If i remember correctly it is there for the option of adding additional hardware but not required. Had the frame drilled and bolts added in those holes to have 4 bolts on each side instead of 3.

Its actually more straight then before my little incident lol. Remember how low my back bumper used to hang? I think that was bent since way back when i was reae ended and we just never noticed. This whole time i thought it was the bumper but it wasnt. So yeah its already a step better then before we started. Ill inspect motor mounts, lca mounts and other sensitive spots more closely this week ans have any damage welded and gusseted next week when the straighten the axle. So far from a quick inspection it all looks ok though

Op- that's Knarly! Glad you are getting it sorted out for cheap. I would expected a lot more $$ to fix that.
