Here's how I mounted a Z-Edge Plus dash cam on the Go Pro mount. There is a 5/16 stud in the aluminum block and that was epoxyed to the trimmed down Z-Edge neck.
Thanks to those who responded to my earlier question about the mount. Camera mount.jpg

How is this camera and mount working out for you?

The camera is great. The video is very clear and it's simple to operate. I have a small milling machine and was able to make the adapter out of aluminum but any hard wood like maple would work just as well. I had to use a little imagination to whittle down the Z-Edge goose neck but everything is nice and neat and it looks like a factory job. I didn't go with the Go Pro because of how much you have to spend to get the loop function.
