Got to make a little one and show people what I did, Just hooked them up to full brightness with the red wire cause hooking them up to the dimmer under the dash is a no go cause that fuse has power 24/7 even with the truck off so all I did was pick a fuse in the fuse box under the hood, the ac fuse and put a 10 amp fuse in with a fuse tap and when the ignition is off the lights are off!

So what I did to the lights is cut off the plug since our SRs don't have the plug on our headlight wiring harness and then added a 3 wire terminal strip!

    WOW! Looks amazing.

So there is no way to rig these up to flip on using the DRL switch I have on my SR5?

Is it possible to tap in to the amber (drl/turn signal) wires and just run the DRL's off of them, or am I way off here?

You could do that if you want to do it the crappy way and splice wires....

Right, it wouldn't be the cleanest way, but I would still be able to control when the DRL's come on, and turn off correct?

I just don't like the idea of having them on all the time, that's all. One thing I love about my truck is that I can actually turn all of my lights and DRL's off when I want.

Do you also buy damaged headlight assemblies? I have a pair I received back from the body shop with some minor scratches on the lens. No cracks or broken plastic just a lens that is scratched.
