How many psi will that do? Is that getting into dangerous territory on the stock internals or can they handle it without problems

 

I was thinking 2.55 but I'm not going ucon or 7th injector. I'm just gonna run fpr mod so I think 2.7 will be enough. I don't wanna mess with getting a smaller belt or anything either.

 

My plan is to get UCON, 2.7 and 7th injector at the same time and then go hit a Dyno and see where I'm at. Pretty much 400hp at the crank is about as far as you wanna go before you start upgrading internals.

 

Not sure what psi will be but I'll find out. If it pops I'll let you know!

i hit 8 right now with my 2.85. dtlt with factory y pipe. waiting on spec u exhaust to be back in stock

 

I've hit 8. @stairgod sent me a pic of 9 PSI the other day with the 2.85. Pretty sure he was at like 16k though...

 

My tach is in the pic also....

 

Guess it isn't . Was in OD though, so probably 3k or so

 

Did you get the 2.55 and supporting fuel system installed? Performance comparison? Inquiring minds want to know!

 

Just got back from driving some rugged trails. Hadn't notice this before. Some grease above the super charger. Any ideas what this might be? Wanted some opinions before I took it to the shop. I have no AFR gauges. Temp staying 185-192 on highway. BD tuner. No other aftermarket parts (i.e. Upgrades pulleys or fuel pump). No subjective performance issues. Oil level looks good (had it changed a couple of weeks ago). Had it installed at a shop last November.

 

I havent seen that on mine. Are those bolts loose?

 

They feel tight. Plus the markings from install are right on the spot.

 

yeah tighten those bolts. My 3.4l supercharger has a bolt like that on the back of it that I noticed had some leakage around it a little while back, tightened it up and it's been good since.

 

Only thing that could be leaking from those bolts is air and maybe oil vapor from the PCV system. I would certainly check them to make sure they are torqued.
