I will be down there with Locos Mocos from 11/10-11/19. I know we're going thru San Felipe and La Paz is our destination. For the race I think we'll be south of Bay of LA.

Not my trip. I'm following the "power trip" tour this year. But if you want I can see what 5-0's plans are. I know he's not going on the power trip.

Sounds like we'll be following the same general route. We're gonna stay at Guadalupe Hot Springs on Saturday night, get lunch in San Felipe Sunday and stay at either Ganzaga Bay or Bay of LA Monday night...or head over to a spot north or Guerro Negro for Surfing for a few days. We have to be in Loreto on either the 18th or 19th to pick someone up at the airport. We'll find a spot down that way once the race course is published. It's looking like somewhere near Loreto might work well.

I've been talking to a few people who are on TWer's who are interested in coming but cannot attend the whole thing. I should mention this won't be a problem. You can come with us at the beginning and leave early or come late and drive back with us or do the middle or whatever.

We have an InReach satelite locatere with texting that we're able to share our location on spotwalla.com. We could cooridinate a meet up.

    51 Days Till Baja!
Having dinner at Laja. This place is super good. We got an 8 course tasting menu with local wine paring for like $50 a person. They have their own garden behind the restaurant and everything is local.
We're definately planning on eating there again this year.

I might have to try that sometime with the Mrs. I like to stay at Plaza de Fatima near there as I have friends that own it.

That looks like a nice hotel. The past couple of years we've camped in the middle of the valley in an arroyo where we probably shouldn't camp. Maybe we'll actually stay in the hotel. On the other hand we're thinking about renting a house in/near Ensanada for a couple days around Thanksgiving. We'll see.

That's awesome. Last year we showed up in Ensanada at noon on Saturday and watched a car, a truck and motorcycle limp down the riverbed toward the finish line. This year will be the 1st time to actually watch the race.
