well that sucks big time, I'm sure that will be a pretty penny to fix. I would say, time for a regear, but if I'm not mistaken you have already done so haha now im not an expert here so forgive my possible stupid question but would that screw up your locker as well?

well I guess its the name of the game when it comes to off roading, stuff like this is bound to happen at some point or another regardless of how much experience/how careful you are. hopefully the repairs go well and that you will be back on the road, or offroad in no time!

Thanks for the lesson! What can I use to remove the leftover shadow if I'm not replacing the badge? Will it come off when I go through the waxing process?

Thanks! Some Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 will take the leftover shadow right off. I actually went back the day after I filmed this and did that.

*I just added a link to that product in the video description.

New to the forum. In fact I don't ever join these until today because I felt an overwhelming need to share these picks and maybe inspire or help someone else as all the folks on this forum have helped me grow the stones needed to tackle great taco mods.

Today I finished the install of 7" double din android deck. The exact link model below.
    Here is what I Installed

    - Eonon GA2164 7" double din
    - Metra dash kit
    - Toyota to ISO wire harness
    - Backup camera mounted to tail gate handle wired all wired to reverse trigger and backup light circuit from the left kick panel
    - Backup camera manual switch
    - Deck wired to illumination circuit, reverse circuit and the 3 wires that control the steering wheel controls
    - ODB2 ELM dongle

The new setup gives me bluetooth phone, music, steering wheel controls for radio and music, offline navigation through "Here" App, GPS, WiFi and WiFi data tethering through phone, ODB2 diagnostics and also information dashboards even at the same time as phone connectivity and of course the ability to play online music, or stored music on either SD or USB.
I bought a steering wheel decoder harness and was about to get the decoder but research said I didn't need it because the deck could handle SWC so I used the harness to connect the factory one and therefore no splicing of any kind needed for the whole install.

Next I am going to add a front camera and RH steering wheel controls to answer drop calls from the steering wheel.

Here are the links to what I bought for the project.

How appropriate being that I debadged my truck the same way. Fishing line looked to work way better than floss which broke constantly. Also used Goo Gone, but in the spray nottle.

Thanks again @CBoy808. Great work and very fast.
    A new tailgate badge

And I updated the bedsides changing the TRD to red and the black areas to dark grey. It was too subtle all in black before.

It worked out for me to have the day off today. I knew when you said they were going out yesterday morning, that I'd have them today.
