New guy here, went through the same dilemma when my ordered Pro finally arrived this Feb. Got it under MSRP with super charger so went with the 2015 Pro.

I've been getting 14.5 mpg, but I have some road rage issues at times and seem to find myself at triple digit speeds with too much regularity. When long-hauling on the highway on cruise control I can crack 19 mpg. Always with the 91 octane

    Nice looking TRD Pro -

Did you have to add the roof top rails as an option? Tell us more about the performance on the Supercharger..... from what I've read it is almost a necessary add-on.

I'm also considering the new 2016 instead - particularly like the 30% internal noise reduction and 20% increase in mileage, but they say you lose headroom (about 1 inch)

The truck sucks without the Supercharger. Dont worry about the noise, its not that bad. The 4.0 Supercharged still make more Horsepower and torque than the new engine.

I just found a used 2013 Pro for a good price that I may go for and then get a new Gen once they really enter the market next spring...That way I can really compare the 2 and not have any regrets.

How are you liking now a year later? I'm looking at a similar one now, '15 Pro with supercharger. Would love to hear some feedback on it.

Still loving mine. 35K miles now and I still get all giggly when I hit the gas on it. My one major regret so far is going with the Icon add-a-leaf kit on the rear springs instead of buying a full new leaf pack. The Icon kit didn't allow the brake line to mount properly and I had to jury-rig something up that is still a temporary fix 2 years later. I just realized my supercharger nose has a minor leak as well... but who knows when that will actually need work. I am now at the point where I am wondering how much longer the Bilstein suspension will last because of the abuse I put it under. I definitely put it through its paces (much more than most mall-crawlers put their 3" block suspensions through). Honestly I have forgotten its specs and I am online now wondering if it is rebuildable or if I need to figure out something new down the road. I'm looking for off-road service centers in Ohio to take care of my rear springs and brake lines. If I find one reputable enough I may just go with the next level of suspension and some 285 tires.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I have a 2015 Trd Pro 6spd supercharged, and a 2017 TRD Offroad auto. The pro is by far my favorite but the 2017 trounces it in mpg.

I drive and love both hard.

Good to know, thanks for a great update. Is your AAL a 3 leaf pack? I'm debating installing one & removing the overload for a small lift + softer ride back there.
