    Hi Guys,

I just picked up my 2015 TRD Pro DCSB a little over a month ago and have been slowly making it my own.

One of the things I needed to change were the factory tail lights. Why they were still the "Altezza" style from the late 90's and early 2000's... I don't know.

So I found these by DT Moto on Ebay: http://ebay.to/2waWB9H

These were made in Taiwan, and then it seems like they were re-branded by multiple companies: DT Moto, XTune, Spyder... with different price-points. Since there is most likely no difference between the different branded sets, I went with the least expensive set from DT Moto at $135.

There are a bunch of different versions of the same tail lights: Red lens/Chrome housing, Clear lens/Chrome housing, Clear lens/Black housing, Smoked lens/Black housing...

I went with the Red lens/Chrome housing since I wanted a more factory look. And honestly, these look awesome. This is how the tail lights should have come from the factory.

Install was very easy. These are plug and play and look to have resistors built in.

Nice red LED "C" that is always on (when your headlights are on). The main bank of red LED's (very bright) are your break lights/turn signals. And of course you have your backup lights.

I've had them on for a week so far with 2 rain showers and no moisture issues. So far so good.

    They look awesome!

Pictures of this style light always make the fiber optic tube appear more orange than it is.

I have the black version and they light up solid red.

Super happy with them. Glad to hear you have not had any issues!

Hi Hanwei, I have the same truck. Yours looks like it has a lift. If so, do you mind sharing the details? Thanks S.

I've seen your pics of your tail lights - very nice. You have no idea how long I went back and forth trying to decide between your version and the version I ended up going with. Ha! I think you can't really go wrong either way.

Hey Sergio - I have the stock/factory TRD Pro suspension up front... and a stock setup in the rear with the exception that I added 1" blocks. When I got the truck, the factory suspension was such that the rear was .5" lower than the front - and I couldn't stand the "bro" lean/squat look. I like having the rear slightly higher. So... I now have a positive rake (by .5" ;)).

Just an update... I've had these for 3 months now... Plenty of rain, and now some fluctuating cold/warm/cold New England air... still no issues. Sweet.

I'm really liking the look of these. No issues with the leds? Hyper blink?

No issues. No hyper blink - they have resistors built in. They perform exactly as you'd expect them to.

I could write a book on how hideous I think they are. By posting pics one can assume OP wants opinions. I was just trying to say it in a nice way but look what you made me do now!

Actually, I wasn't looking for opinions :luvya: even though people are welcome to share them :oldglory:

I posted my overall experience with these tail lights in terms of ease of install, comparison with similar options, and added the photos in hopes that all of this might help other forum members who were considering them.

When I was researching these lights for myself, I searched the forums and didn't see too much info or photos of these tail lights out there.

Anyway, I freaking love how these tail lights look. So to each their own, I guess!

With my versions (red lens), when the lights are off everything is just red including the C.

Thanks for sharing all your pics, @Hanwei . I was unsure about them until I came across your truck on Google. Any moisture issues to date? Just got my set in the mail and I'm debating siliconing them or not. It rains cats and dogs here in the PNW.

I have them, perfect for about 6 months, and I didn’t reseal them just installed.
