I like this idea of modifying a fuse tap to add an easily removable kill switch.

I remember when someone figured out on those popular steering wheel locks back 10-15 yrs ago that you could spray them down with Freon, let them freeze and then any hammer would shatter them. if the thieves worked at a regular job half as hard as they work coming up with ways to rip other people off, then they wouldn't have steal the stuff in the first place.

theyll just break windows if they really want in anyways. just shitty people. best thing is to make sure valuables arent in the vehicle at all which is tougher than it should be.

My brother has a single car garage that isn't wide enough to open more than one door and even then you have to squeeze your way out because you can only open the door a crack. Thieves still managed to put the car on blocks and steal all four rims with no damage to the vehicle.

I garage mine it is a base so manual locks. We have had no issues but locks only keep honest people honest. If they really want it they will steal it. Video will help catch them but not much can stop them other than being their in person. And this probably wouldn't end well.

On 2nd and 3rd gen Tundras, you can disable wireless door locks with Techstream. Not 100% sure on Tacomas (my base model '06 didn't have keyless entry), but I'd be very surprised if 3rd gen Tacos didn't have the option.

Absolutely irresponsible gun ownership. A vehicle is NOT a safe place to keep a firearm. You can (and should) blame the thief, but the ultimate responsibility for the safety of that weapon falls to the owner.

Garages are neat when you park at home all the time. Not everyone parks at home all the time. So no, a garage is not "all you need".

A firearm is an inanimate object and pilfered just like any other valuable item. Outside of applicable federal & state laws it should be treated no different just because "OMG gun".
