Yup. I've got a link somewhere. You just send them 2 forms and your title and request to pay over phone with credit card. Use your CA address and bam you're done.

    Yea sorta legal.

Gotta have all the bs CA requirements or you'll get fix it tickets for everything.

    -blinkers front and rear
    -DOT approved tires
    -high/low beam headlight
    -horn wired to battery
-front and rear brake levers wired to rear brake light
    -rear running light

Think that's it haha. My WR is not even close to that but I don't ride it around the city. Just on more rural roads on trips and stuff. Let's go ride sometime haha

And technically it's not CA legal because of the VIN. And you will be asked why you registered in S Dakota because... just make sure you have your story straight when they ask.

Yup, I've got all of those. After the carb is done I'm putting the lighting kit on. And I have fresh rubber I've got to put on as well. I'll be 100% legal

    Props!
I've done it once after leaving it in the sun all day and it helped but I'll never do it again I'll just pay the people to do it.
Especially when trying to put a paddle tire on I don't know how many times I said the f word

Dude. Yes. I hate swapping tires, but just did it anyways haha. I've done enough of them so it's not too bad, and this was just a tube swap, but that last section of tire is always a bitch!

    IMG_3616.jpg IMG_3617.jpg

Tube swapped and ready to go back on the bike.

@uhplifted i will never swap another paddle tire. Those are a fucking nightmare. Knobbies are a walk in the park compared to those.

@uhplifted if you do the install yourself leave a little room on the valve stem between the nut and the rim.
    IMG_3619.jpg

Having the nut tightened down will cause this -

Don't have a paddle tire and doubt I ever will now that this is a dual sport. I've heard it's hell though haha
 Tires will be the last thing done. Gonna take the chain off and give it a thorough cleaning and obviously the carb is getting a bath and re jetted. And then lighting goes on next. Still need to order the radiator fan but that should be a 30 minute install at most
