Ever walked around a GDIA]

 

No, those are some videos from my vacation at the beginning of July. I just haven't had time to do anything with them yet.

 

Those redwoods have got to be amazing in person.

Man I finally get a race on free tv and I slept thru the whole damn thing. It's like music to my ears sound of roaring engines.

 

They mill into nice great lumber and make a huge thud when they hit the ground.

 

Some places are not so friendly on picking up a souvenir

 

Well I only had 1 call out yesterday. I opted to lay low and do some catch-up. Had to unclog an ice machine and that was it. Will finish up house cleaning tomorrow

 

I grew up in the coastal mountain range areas. It is pretty spectacular. When the wind blows, even gently, them big old trees squeak and groan as they bend and flex.

 

I spent a summer around Lompoc and didn't get a chance to see any of them. But I did get to see some farms of carnations that was a cool site.

That was mean, I feel like hugging a tree now.

Ya gotta make sure there is nobody looking and ya gotta make sure the back of your P/U is full of shit so when you stick it in there it kinda gets lost amongst all the other crap.
But, of course I wouldn't know, Im just guessing.

Reminds me of when we spent our honeymoon in Blue river Colorado. Their firewood was amazing aspen logs. I wanted to make something out of it not burn it. Place was up against a national forest. Good walking sticks laying all over the ground there.

 

You're usually pretty safe unless you're in a state park or campground you buy a permit for. Those are usually pretty strict. But there's thousands of acres of public lands that won't miss a "dead and down" 34" long, 2-3" diameter piece of tan oak tree limb that are also abundant up there...

Well to me it looks like a very easy 2wd hill climb , remember I've been rock crawling and off roading in built jeeps for almost 15 years
