Man, was hoping to make Fall Crawl this year but looks like a trade show for work has got me stuck in StL that weekend. Flat Nasty is one our favorite parks in Mo to wheel. Great place to wheel!

@98'4runnerSR5 are you presenting or just attending. I feel a little bit of a scratchy throat, cough, cough. :D
Seriously though we like Flat Nasty too. Great owners and trails. Facilities are improving and what could be better than the beauty of the Ozark mountains in the fall. Leaves might not be changing yet but beautiful nonetheless.

Presenting unfortunately... If it was attending, I would nix it and be on the trails without a doubt! Will spread the word though Mo4wd at our group meeting this Sunday though.

Thanks for helping a brother out. I may have been a little more eloquent with link setup in the STL thread on TW. My good friend Sammy Tatiersky said that he would be passing the info along to MO4WD folks as well.

Anybody have recommendations on a shop within driving distance of KC to get a suspension setup installed? Don't have the time or tools anymore to do it myself.

I can't speak for how reasonable a price it might be but Adventure Motors in Lee's Summit will install your kit for you. If you are in the KC Metro area check out Tornado Alley Cruisers and Kansas City Toyota Group on FaceBook. TAC is more into wheeling and overloading but both groups welcome members of all Toyota flavors. As you probably guessed not much happening on TW in the KC Area. If you can spare some time to DIY, many of the TAC members have space and tools to get things done and will help/heckle along the way.

Adventure Motors actually gave me the most reasonable quote and I'll likely go with them. Normally I wouldn't mind figuring it out myself but I'm short on time and this is my only vehicle right now, so I have little room for error.

New to TW, just bought my first Taco on Tuesday! I live in KCMO, would love to plan a camping trip or something in the future.

There are several off road/ overloading clubs in the KC area depending on what you are interested in doing.

Tornado Alley Cruisers ( local chapter of the Toyota Land Cruiser Association - TAC ) is a blend of most types of Toyota 4x4 vehicles with a large percentage of FZJ80's in the KC area but members also scattered throughout KS and MO. TAC members typically hangout here https://forum.ih8mud.com/forums/ks-mo-tornado-alley-cruisers.53/. Most of TAC enjoys wheeling off road parks as well as exploring gravel / fire roads enjoying the scenic routes and camping in either kinds of trips.

There is a Kansas City Toyota FaceBook group also with various types of Toyota models and similar interests to TAC.

Do some searching/lurking on the various forms of social media and try to meet up with some of the groups. I'm sure you'll find a group that you will fit in with.

    Congratulations on the Taco.

Welcome - and nice truck. Have you (or anyone else around CoMo) used an off-road shop in town? Currently deciding on a DIY bilstein/Dakar install or paying a shop to do it. Haven’t used anyone local for anything like this before though.

Good to know. I’ve used Big O for tires and brakes in the past. I might run by Conquest and get a feel for how those guys operate.

Conquest Off Road is gave me a very expensive tire quote, FYI. Wish we had more here. Check out some places in northern Arkansas if you're up to it.

Who knows of some good trails?

There was a big hate thread about conquest over on CCC or CTA a few days ago, never been in there so I can’t comment. I have used big O on peach tree for alignments they do decent work.
