The Tea Weiss was the one that stood out to me on the menu. Would love to try that.

Farmhouse IPA, standard phenols, some hops, sweet, well rounded.

    Trailsmith, meh, no flaws, nondescript.

Azacca session, weaker Farmhouse, meh, the GF likes it, oh joy.

Farmhouse IPA w/ Brett, pronounced Brett nose, clean Brett profile, no sour, no funk.

Apricot Weiss, another Berlinner, with a touch of fruit, weakest of the weisse.

After leaving a BBQ event that was being held by another TW member here, the wife an I ventured down the street to a local brewery/taproom. Had a cream soda that made for a great dessert beer and the wife liked the Imperial Chocolate Stout so much that a growler ended up coming home with us.

Right now, Cerebral Brewing is my number one place in Denver. The menu is IPA centric. Their beers pack twice as much flavour as any other brewery I know, but they are still easy to drink. Wouldn't call 6.2% abv sessionable, but but somehow the fifth beer is just as refreshing as the first.

Aging it a year made it much more palatable. Pretty good actually.

Ok, woke up in the TV park in Peculiar MO. Brushed teeth, shaved, time for a beer, let's get one of those Boulevard Pils we bought last night. Crack it, sip, oh shit. I opened the Prairie Noir the brewer gave us by accident. Every stop we make I have been giving 2 Houston beers. St Arnold's Art Car IPA and Karbach Hop Delusion (double IPA).

Oh well. 11% BBL RIS for breakfast.

    Golden at, pseudo although, clean

Black IPA, roast with complementary hops, easy going

West bottoms IPA, low hop Aroma, sweet, not bitter, balanced but doesn't stand out, not for hopheads.

Brunch stout, creamy, roasty, chocolate, oatmeal and coffee. Nice beer

Vienna lager. Clean, no diacetyl. A good job, malty, well rounded.

Mexican lager, no flaws, like Corona but more flavor.

    20170820_133949.jpg

The hefe and the Saison confusingly close, just a touch of pepper more in one, both clove Aroma, no bubblegum, banana.

Fox trotter Scottish, very dry, needs more Xara melt, not as sweet as I expected.

Belgian wit, meh, lots of coriander, too sweet, no orange, not crisp and refreshing. Fail

    So good.

Sorry if I keep posting the same beer :anonymous:

    Brain dead Brewing, Dallas

    20170822_133356.jpg

    Berlinner, not sour enough

Terrace Gose (wm gewurztraminer grapes) low sour, salt right, coriander low, undercarbonated.

Altbier, too chocolate, but clean, mildly fruity

Dead Flowers, mildly tart, touch of flowers (chamomile)

Export Stout, very nice, roast, toffee, mildly creamy, tobacco.

All their beers need more carbonation.

We stopped in Vermont to pick up some beer on our way to Maine last week. We got to the store just after the Alchemist delivery van arrived.

There was a line for Heady and we didn't want to wait, but the Lawson's delivery was earlier, so we grabbed a bunch of that and were back on the road in a few minutes.
