Around here 10 y/o Tacomas with similar miles sell for double what 10 y/o Ridgelines do. Unibodies have poor resale value, literally the beer cans of the auto world. Use them up then crush them and recycle.

I keep trucks for the long haul, live down 1.5 miles of rocky dirt road, drag my dirt driveway pulling 500lbs of iron chained to the spring hangars, haul firewood and pull my dumbass neighbor's wife out of the ditch in the winter b/c he won't buy her a 4X4 so I need a truck with a frame.

If you buy a Ridgeline this guy will probably think you are driving one bad mamma-jamma though.

I strongly considered the Ridgeline, even came close to buying one. In the end, CARB standards ruined that engine(VCM) just as much as it did the toyota 3.5.

2TR-FE reliability is what won me over.

I'm a Honda guy through and through. Civic, integra, element, s2000, tsx, motorcycles, etc. But the ridge is just, well, an ugly child. Everyone knows it, and no matter how good it may be on paper, it's still the grossest looking vehicle they have made in a long time (like the crosstour").

It's taco for me, as it's as close to a truck you can get for without glow plugs.
