    LS1 swap with nitros.
I recently re-did my 83 V65 Magna. Ground up other than painting tank and side covers or opening up the motor.

Beautiful. I recall drooling over the Magna at the small Honda dealer in my home town. I was riding an 83 nighthawk 650 at that time.

Heads up if any of you need CB360 parts. I have an extra 360 that I'm parting out. Gas tank, carbs, complete motor etc. etc.

My first bike, a 1985 Z50R. Dug it out of my parents garage. Hasn’t been run since about ‘89. Might be my winter project getting it going again.

Also have a 1984 CR60R in my basement that I need to get around to building some day. Only sold in Canada from 1983 to 1985. Fairly rare bike and not easy to find parts for. If anyone knows where to look for parts aside from eBay, lay it on me.

And lastly, pulled this little beauty out of my girlfriends dads garage last fall and got it running. It’s a 1976 Trail 90 with only 90 original miles on it.

Bit of rust on the tank. Hopefully just surface, but might be in the market for a new one. Probably pick up a set of Shinko’s, clean the carb, change the oil, polish it up, and should be good to go.

Try pro50parts.com. Other than that, ebay. Good luck. Report back with what you find, and where you found it. May be in the market for a new tank for my Z50.

Thanks man. Is it not best to go oem? The guy I got it from, and two other bikes, says i should get oem. Are they collectible?

I’d say highly collectable as us aging guys try to recapture a piece of our past. OEM would be best to maximize resale value, or if you’re shooting for authenticity. It’ll also be the most expensive. What kind of shape is the tank? The Trail 90 we have was stored for over 30 years with half a tank of gas in it. Not good, but dry climate, so the tank didn’t have a lot of moisture in it. A classic bike shop near us, was able to clean it up. If you just want a nice little runner to keep in your garage, there are some good after market parts out there.

The tank didnt have any gas, thank God. So maybe just a cleaning might do the trick. Theres some paint peeling from the tank which might have been caused by a trace of gas. I would like to get OEM parts but I wanna ride it before I go back to classes in the spring semester. I guess repop would be ok for now.

My cousin had a 69 CT90 he rode on our grand parents farm. He got bored with it and parked it in one of the barns. My son found it around 20 years later, and we brought it home. New tires, chain and battery, cleaned the gas tank and carb...damn thing fired up after a half dozen kicks.

My kid rode it around our back yard for years.

Judging from my post (25), I’m clearly the wrong person to advise you...unless you’re actually looking for someone to reinforce why buying a 110 would be the best idea ever. Then, I'm your guy. Good luck with your dilemma.

I don't know if this counts, but they haven't changed in over 20 years. I have modded the airbox, thumper jet, de-smogged, FMF pipe, Renthal sprockets, XR 13.5mm front sprocket, gold oring chain, Maxis desert tires. Pulls wheelies at 70mph.

    My first 1983 VF750S Sabre.
This one was totaled when I was rear-ended.
I've got it's twin collecting dust in the garage now.
