Just installed 16" SCS Stealth 6's with 265/75/16 KO2's. I thought I could fit this tire at stock height without rub, but I guess the off space of the SCS compared to the stock wheel is enough to make a difference.

So I trimmed the wheel wells back where they were rubbing at and discovered that I am still rubbing at full turn on the cab mounts, but very slightly (not enough to hear in the cab when rolling).

Should I do something about this? Or is this amount of rub minimal enough to not make a difference? The picture is the best shot I could get of the contact.

Which rim, the 3.5" or 4.5" backspacing?

I am in the same exact boat, literally exact wheel and tire combo, and truck color by the look lol. I was scheduled for a CMC this week at mobtown off road. Does anyone have negative feedback on the CMC? Also I will be putting a bilstein 6112 suspension on it for about 1.5-2.0 in the front. Would this clear the cab mount? I am just hesitant to chop a brand new truck.

You could always push caster forward to 2-3 degrees and see if that helps!

From what I've seen of the chop process, it wouldn't be enough to make me question the strength of the frame afterwards. It is hard to get over chopping up a brand new truck, but I don't think it would be anything that you would notice after you weld a plate back in it's place. Let me know how the 6112's turn out. I'm looking at that down the road as well. No idea if that would be enough to eliminate the rub or not.

I feel like my post completely supports what you are saying here, but it seems like you are being defensive here...

What exactly did you mean by this?

LOL I think he misread your post. Thinking you said it "Would" affect the vehicle structurally. He was pretty passionate in his reply lol.
