Hey yall, I was wondering some more information on Green ridge. Can you literally just drive up there, find a spot to park up and camp? Also, How intense are the trails up there? I have a 2wd so if the trails are too much I don't wanna go up and get stuck. If you guys have any advice, info, and or if yall think I shouldn't go unless I got someone with me, I'd like some feedback. Thanks!

 

Its all smiles all day long, and without a doubt the most fun you can have in a car with your clothes on.

 

you would have to go to the ranger station and reserve a spot. It's $10 for up to 10 people. It's mostly dirt roads within the state park but there is some moderate trails. But nothing too extreme. Whether you have a locker or not you would would not have any problems unless you were doing the river crossing which we have done a couple times and for that you would need 4 wheel drive but we don't always do river Crossings so you should be good to go exploring in there

sure do, heres the link to the event page for today. and as far as moving around and getting close, your free to get as close as you dare on the inside of the corners, but if you on the outside you need to keep some space for people like me that cant drive lol. otherwise anyplace you think you can stand and not get hit is ok, somone will come and tell you to move if its not.

Yeah I can never get tired exploring in there. It really is an amazing place . But it's always nice exploring with other people

 

A friend of mine has a Jeep so I was thinking he and I could go explore for a weekend or something. Alone doesn't seem like the best plan since I'm not experienced as of now.
