Headed up to eagle lakes again for a day run on Sunday. Would love to try signal peak if anyone wants to join - won't do it by myself. But ya, headed up for a day trip for my mom. She hasn't been out yet and wants to go before she goes under the knife again

Early enough. Really depends on mom. She's prone to being late like most women, but she's forgoing church to come out. So hopefully around 7-8

At least she has her priorities straight.

That's a good time. I'll let you know.

Signal Hill is a cake walk. Are you going into Eagle Lake? Or just the hill?

Them 2 should be ok until they get to these spots. Road got a little abused this summer. Possible pin striping.

Cool. Pm me if you want my number

I'm still lacking skids and that's the only part that concerns me.

Signal Hill. No issue. Eagles Lake, maybe, but the only time I went there, it was covered in snow, so skids were nice, but again, no issue for me, as I never hit anything.

I think it's a certainty unless someone has gone in and cut back the shrubbery. That's how I got all mine. I think they'll buff out though.
I went up to Eagle Lakes and did about the first mile of Signal Peak without skids and sliders. No damage. Just have to take your time and pick good lines.

I bashed in my rear driver quater panel on signal peak a couple years ago. However, that was probably due to picking a bad line and driver error more than anything.

I did the exact same thing, a few years ago on that trail (first 1/3 of the trail). Likely the same spot, where the easy line is to the right, and the challenging line (aka - more fun :D) is to the left. My next mod, was a 'wrap-around' style rear bumper from CBI.

At some point I'm going to replace my bed with a slide in tray style camper with a pop top. I thought about fixing my bed but I think I'll sell it super cheap instead.

Don't think many weekends can top this one. Got my willys yesterday. Got to take my mom out today. My awesome gf went shopping so I could BBQ some burgers for my mom and I today (even though she stayed home). Got to spot some cool rigs leaving the trail. Also got some thunder and a little sprinkle after we got to swim. Another fantastic reminder of how good my life is.
