So my passenger cv boot is torn badly and throwing grease around. I'm saving to buy a new set of auto parts store (Napa) CV's and was wondering what else if anything I should replace while in there. Balljoints are 5K old, just did the tundra break swap, truck has a small lift and I wheel it very aggressively (no stock or near stock truck should go the places I put mine through). My truck has no abs and cruise control, and auto locking front hubs☹️

Replace your front differential seals while you're doing the CV axles.

Alright, also my truck makes a sort of grinding sound from the passenger front area, could that be the cv or wheel bearing? At first I thought it was the dust shield but it's not

The grinding sound could also be worn out brake pads and/or a seized brake caliper.

I just replaced with brand new tundra rotors/calipers. It has gotten better and now only does it occasionally, I'm sure that whatever is grinding has gotten worn down enough that it doesn't make as much noise but I'm afraid that something crucial will fail. I beat this truck very hard off-road and it does very well, so any parts that can be upgraded should be
