2001 back window slider latch

    The latch for my back slider window is missing. This is the single glass slider, NOT the double glass. The stealership says the only way to replace it is to buy the ENTIRE back window. Stupid I know, but they were shocked also. Anyone else have this issue? I'm looking for a (nonexistent?) part number, generic latch solution, etc. Anything other than a stick in the slider grove.

    What!? I know they changed the glass pane design in '01 but the entire window latch assembly for my '98 was like, $10 on Amazon.
