Aesthetics is perspective for everyone, but with that much lift and possibly risking alignment numbers as others have suggested, it is rare for one to fight the grain to this extent with no interest in bigger tires. Its your truck at the end of the day though.

I mean, I'm not alignment tech, more of a self-proclaimed expert in the field with 30+ years experience at 26 years old.

As an experienced alignment tech I'm sure you're well aware of the effects of low caster so why is it that YOUR truck is immune to these symptoms? o_O

I'm sure you also know that "in-spec" is a huge range that doesn't really mean shit ESPECIALLY for a lifted application that's no longer operating in the original range as Toyota intended.

You spent $38k on a truck, $1700 on wheels and tires, $1000 on suspension and you KNOW adding the UCA is going to improve your alignment numbers so why skimp? I honestly don't get it.

I think the oPs post was useful info for those guys that are just looking for simple low end lift on a 3rd gen. pay no attention to us that love to talk trash and beat the shit out of are trucks. pushing the limits with 35's on a weak ass ifs rig. that's what we do. 265s will fit stock no lift needed. But I would never buy a new truck to wheel, and I dont think that's what he is after. But he made a good point for those that want to lift and not cut or chop.
Enjoy your truck, and welcome to TW, home of a bunch of weirdo's.

Oh damn that's right! I remember now, could soon be another gem to go up in the third gen library.

Seriously, I am in spec and don't have any symptoms of too little caster. Specs are just that, within those parameters your vehicle should drive and handle as the factory intended. A little lower caster gives you quicker and more responsive steering, more like a sports car and less like a truck. If you guys think that low caster within specs is twitchy you might want to get checked for parkinsons...

Correct, this is my daily driver with 75% in town under 65 MPH the other 25% is a combination of highway and light off road during hunting season. I also use this truck to do truck stuff, hauling sand, dirt, gravel, rock, firewood ect.
