Yeah its crazy these days. If it wasn't for my mother in law basically funding our house, we probably wouldn't have been able to buy here for a long time. Just sucks because rent is more than a mortgage but actually coming up with a down payment and getting an offer accetpted is crazy difficult.

Good luck in WG, it's a nice area over there and great schools for the kid.

Yeah its short term, wife got a huge promotion at work so it made sense to be closer to her work. She has commuted the hill for 8 years so its my turn.

We will be back, we love it to much.

It is deflating though, put in 3 bids while looking for rentals and all 3 places went for like 100k over asking, cash!! There is no way we can compete with anyone in this market.

Nice on the promotion, more mods then...haha.

Yeah we lucked out and found our place over memorial day weekend during it's first showing and put in a offer (for asking price) that Monday with the requirement they give us their decision by EOD next day. Probably would have been bid up and a hassle otherwise. They hadn't had the realtor showing yet and being a holiday weekend most people were out of town.

Daisy the steak ninja!!! She was a sweet girl. I remember at Slickrock last year, whenever I'd throw the ball for Banditt I'd hear a bark from Daisy like she was saying "fuck off with your ball throwing" then would turn her head and walk away.

Sorry for your loss Bret. She's rolling around in some mighty fine grass right now I'm sure, with a belly full of steak!

Haha great one Jay. Thanks brotha. She was definitely the fun police for other dogs

And thanks to everyone for all the well wishes. Too many to quote. Today has fuckin sucked, that's for sure. Knife in the heart...

But I take comfort in her not hurting anymore. Cooked her a bunch of ground beef this morning. She wolfed it down then threw it right back up along with a bunch of blood. I knew it was time :(:(:(

I took all the rest of her food and treats and gave to a homeless lady and her dogs I always see by the High st offramp. She was super thankful. That felt good

I'm just gonna take it one day and twelve beers at a time. My heart is definitely broken...

Glad she got to go on one last ride and hang with the homies this weekend!
Also, she helped me by finishing off a taco and a piece of pizza. I'm pretty sure she loved it :D

    She will be missed
