Anyone in the bay area (san francisco) work on or know anyone that works on garage doors? Mine just took a shit tonight. I think it's the spring. Just thought I'd see if I could throw some business to someone on here before I just call someone random.

I've seen a few posts from you guys' trip over slick rock trail.

I'm planning a trip to the Lake Tahoe around September. I just moved from Utah a few months ago. There we have many trails that aren't too difficult but allow some off road travel and camping (some up to 100 miles with spread out campsites). Bathrooms are nice but not required.

Right now we are just thinking of camping at designated areas at Meeks bay and then sly recreation area. But I'd really like to see a little dirt. Maybe even use 4wd. It's going to be just my truck so nothing too difficult.

Is that too much to ask in this state/area?

Lots of trails and areas to get dirty up in Tahoe. I'm sure some of the seasoned guys ca n chime in but check with @jAndyMendo, he posts his trails on Gaia. I've followed a few of them. Hopefully others will chime in too

    80 there and 50 back.

We have an inflatable raft to use for a little paddling around. But it would nice to see some off road stuff one of those days.

Check out *Bowman lake. It's off 80 on the way to Tahoe. Good spot and secluded. Trail is mild but rocks and dirt so you can get your dirt fix.

Edit: fixed name of said Lake lol
