I've been on hold with Shopify for a bit, now, trying to get some help figuring out a shipping option for these patches. I can't create a packaging/weight combination that lets me send them as postage, only as a package, which jacks up the shipping price a fair amount. I can create two products, one with shipping included for like $1 more, that way you could get the one without shipping included as an add-on if you need/want more rub and roll it in to the flat-rate shipping or you could buy just a patch with shipping included in the price if you buy it stand alone. The only problem is that folks that want more than one will pay that extra $1 on each patch they get. I hate making money on shipping, but I can't come up with another solution at the moment.

Patches will be $6 + shipping (if you rolled this in to a rub or other purchase, it would include in the flat-rate shipping option) OR $7 shipped but, as it stands, if you bought 3 patches, it'd be $21 as I can't make it charge $1 to ship 3 patches. If I end up being forced to go that route, just being up front about the shipping charge. Trying to get you guys a really nice price so we can up the exposure!

A few things...

First, I haven't notified them directly, but I'd rather do it here anyways.

@Kanyon71 and @Martyinco each had their name drawn during our fundraiser this past Saturday, so they're both hooked up with some prizes!

@Kanyon71 won a 2 lb pack of Pitfaced BBQ rub. I'll let you choose spicy or regular version. We're also going to throw in a koozie and a patch! Once I know which rub you'd like, I'll get working on putting it all together.

@Martyinco won a pair of riding sunglasses donated by A Biker's Garage. They are made by Undercover Eyewear and retail for around $45. There are a lot of styles to choose from, which I can work out with you. However, if you don't want to try and pick sunglasses without trying them on or would prefer the other option, we can substitute the same prize package that @Kanyon71 won, so you would also get 2 lbs of rub, a koozie, and a patch. The patches are live and ready to order! I was able to circumvent the Shopify shipping requirements and add an option that works for 1-4 patches. Any quantity between 1-4 will ship for just $1 in shipping and we're charging just $6 right now. Pitfaced BBQ patches, shipped for $7 each seems like a good deal, I hope. Ok just because I will try most thing's once. This morning I just made myself and Ham/Cheese omelette to make an egg sammich out of. Well I was getting ready to put a little salt on it and saw the jar of rub sitting there. SOOOOO needless to say I decided to try some of that on it instead. Now having said all of that I will now be putting it on all of my egg/omelettes moving forward. Added so much flavor to it gives it that sweet/slight spice. I didn't do a lot on it maybe a 1/2 teaspoon, next one I may kick it up a little more or actually put it in the egg mixture.

Like Guy always says you could put this stuff on a flip flop and eat it.

 

Since we talkin unorthodox uses It's pretty damn good on a hard boiled egg too

 

Good ideas, gentlemen! I've used it in omelettes before, but never tried it on hard-boiled eggs.

Well I decided to go a little further down the rabbit hole. Made some popcorn for my daughter and was putting some of the cheese sprinkle stuff on it for her and saw the rub sitting there again. SOOOO I took a little bit of the plain popcorn for myself and put it in a little bowl. MAGIC happened at that point. Rub sprinkled over it and it became like the best kettle corn you could have. You can see the little flecks of goodness.

 

Patches? We don't need no stinkin patches.
