I am looking at the safe they offer but wonder if the connecting point where the back seats lock into when are on the safe. Would like to see a review on one first.

I use to do the same as you, 2 vehicles to keep the mileage down. Fast forward to now, I'm just using my truck to drive back and forth to doctors appointments (back & knee problems). In 23 1/2 months I've only managed to put 8,100 miles on mine and that includes a round trip from NC. to Fla once which was a 1,200 mile trip.

Yep. But she likes the panoramic roof, which only comes on the Limited.

I put 38000 in 9months commuting to DC everyday. Now I'm in Pittsburgh closer to work & I'm only 300-400 miles shy of 50k. 2yrs as of August 2nd

I was thinking about that, but afraid insects would make a home in there. Are those just to cut down the sound or do they really serve a purpose?

Damn, those are beautiful! You have some serious cabinet-making skills. Anytime I try precision cutting it's always "measure twice, cut wrong, curse thrice, and cut again".

Well I figured I needed to fit it first before I got it painted. It took a lot of massaging and bending of tabs to get it to fit. I also need to see if my old fender flare is usable or if I need to replace it. If I have to replace it I'll most likely need to get that painted at the same time so I'd rather just do it all at once.
