I just put on the 3/1 Low range leveling kit. I'm in need of tires in the worst way. I've looked at 255/80/17 Unfortunately there are only 2 tires available BFG mud terrain an Cooper st max an they are load range E. If I go 255/75/17 several tires to choose from in that size. This is a daily driver I've put over 40000 miles sice I bought the truck a little over a year ago. It's my work truck hunting truck overlanding rig. It is the only thing I drive my 83 custom cab just sits an so does my 2004 super duty.
Everything I've found searching is a little out dated. I'm curious of what experiences people have had with these sizes an which brands.

Out of those two choices, Cooper wins hands down. I have the BFGs and they spin like crazy in the rain, no matter how you drive. It's almost dangerous. I've noticed it depends on the road material out here, but still.

Ive heard nothing but good/great reviews of all things Cooper. Most members will tell you the same. Everyone here raves on the STT Maxx's.
