Total Solar Eclipse From Coast To Coast. The Sight Of A Lifetime Don't Miss It!

Shit show and then some. Idiots trying to make a Woodstock out of it, gas shortages, endless traffic streaming up the 97, short tempers, pissing in store parking lots, Etc. All of this going on with major fires all over the state. We supplied up last week. I'm going nowhere near the crowds.

 

I would do the same but have to work during all that chaos.

 

Today is the day! Get your viewing glasses and stare at the sun!

 

It's all over but the mother of all traffic jams.

 

Not in the path of totality, but the hype here was out of this world. A cloud might could have blocked the sun for the same result.

 

Didn't watch. Will get to see it on the news for a month.

 

I was in NJ last weekend for a wedding. I live in SC, Which was supposedly the best viewing point for the eclipse. I drove back home yesterday. Usually the ride takes about 11.5-12 hours with gas and food stops.

It took me 17 hrs to drive home yesterday! the traffic on 81 south, 77 and 85 south was ridiculous. I have never witnessed such. 81S is a road where you can usually drive at 80-85 mph for hours on end turned into a 20-35 mph crawl for 300 something miles. just about every other plate was from a northern state, even some from Canada.

 

Why hasn't everyone posted pictures yet? I swear, this is the most unpredictable group...
