If gold lake is the one I'm thinking of, I wouldn't consider it on the way to tahoe much at all. And not off 80.

Eagle lakes is however off 80. And does fit your description nicely. Plus, it's likely @Fernando will be there since he lives there

From 80 take 89 North at Truckee. Then turn left on Henness pass Rd. From there you can hit Weber Lake, Bowman Lake, Jackson Meadows Reservoir and a bunch of other bodies of water. It'll be a straight shot to Jackson on pavement but you can turn off on anyone one of the dirt roads to play.

Also - a couple of miles after you get on 89N you'll lose cell reception so make sure you save offline maps on Google Maps (using OK maps) or Gaia GPS.

Noticed a RPM dependent Humming noise while driving (being driven around by wife and friends) coming from my truck. Wondering if I should take it to a Toyota mechanic that might be cheaper or just take it to the dealership. I'm leaning toward dealership just cause I never had the 100k service so I'm thinking I'll just take it in for them to look over everything.

    Anyone have any other suggestions.

It's the transmission though. Normally I'd agree and just accept it but my neighbor who is a retired mechanic suggested I bring it some place to get looked at.

I may also just get an exhaust just cause lol
    What would you recommend

I want to be as JandyAF as I can be
