Help with wiring...

Just installed my Cali raised and the wire harness is different from the video. Does anyone know the correct order that the wires should go? The wires i got were Yellow Green and Red

Like this cause I got this harness and the configuration is
Green on switch- red/blue
Red closest to green on switch- blue/yellow
Black- green/yellow
Red closest to black add a fuse

 

Is the add a circuit needed? in the video it could be added to the other red wire.

 

Yeah if you connect it to the same wire you connect the other red wire to then the switch will always be lit. I just left my extra red wire be and put electrical tape on the end and the switch only lights up when I press it. I might add a fuse in the future but you don't have to

 

Just wired mine up today! So, you connect the red/blue wire and the green wire (one on your switch) together, then you connect green/yellow with the black (the ground wires) and finally you do the two red wires together connect with yellow/blue. If you connect these 3 the switch will light up when you press the button and turn off when you turn it off! hope this helps

Yes order it from cali raised LED. Light is decently bright in the dark, in the daylight it can be hard to tell.

 

I don't know what the deal with mine is. Lights work fine with the switch it came with but the OEM style switch just will not work. I confirmed with Cali Raised that the wiring mentioned above is correct. Could it be a faulty switch?
