I'm fortunate to live close enough to SCS. First off, Vin is one of the nicest guys! He asked me if I had any questions and he answered everything I had even though he's probably answered the same questions a million times over...and he was happy to answer the questions!

Second...his crew unpacked the container...it's not like they're selling 20 sets....shit was massive crazy.

Third...he was packing up the UPS truck...things are shipping out! He wastes no time, that's for sure.

On to the pics...F5 bronze 16" with 4.5bs. Probably will wait for labor day sales for tires.

Depending on how the light hits they can be dark to light. Git some nice metallic to it when the light hits just right. Classy.

He even threw in four free hair nets (last pic). Maybe paying the tab is loose change tipped him off on needing a second job. :notsure:

Great job, love the story, but, it's not a hair net unless it's on your head when you show us.

Vin was super cool. It's so hard to make a choice and I still feel like I could have held out for 17's because more tire choices. I'm gonna rock these and be happy. They look way better in person and still have some good depth to them for 16" 4.5bs.

I did sneak them into the garage. Looks like I'll be doing laundry so no snooping eyes ask WTF.

I think so too. Really stoked....not sure I can hold out till labor day to get some 265 75 16 tires. I've already opened the box up three times since I got home....nothing has changed.

@ChadsPride You're a Nitto fan. Not really much in way of options for 16...and what I can find would be a bear to replace since it doesn't appear to be something readily available here. Duratrac looks promising, the KOBRO choice, or Cooper? Looking for a meaty tire for all my 4x2 poser needs. Am I missing any other brands?

Okay...you got homework. Look up Flava Flav. If you see a a resemblance to a clock around the neck, find the nearest confessional and pray for salvation.

Duratracs weren't bad but I blew a side wall driving home on day FROM WORK! 100% pavement, no clue how it happened. I've now got Cooper STT Pros (MT version), and they're awesome so you could look into the Cooper STT Maxx as they are the AT version. I know people love them on here

Ooh...just looked them up. They look pretty meaty. :taco:My better half just got a Cooper tire replaced on the car....yes one and the other three are Perilli...it kills me to see mixed tires on a vehicle lol. Maybe Cooper will make us twins and soften the blow when the news drops I dumped a grand on new tires instead of a weekend getaway...or in addition to a getaway.

Test fitting the ST Maxx in a short while. They were a little beefier than the KO2. Nervous and excited AF. :annoyed:

Slight rub in front mudflap...other than that fits like a dream. Now I gotta find a place to do an alignment...otherwise it'll have to wait until Monday.

My front dust caps were missing....so the tire place is ordering me new ones.
