I did once back On July 16th of 2010. When barreling out of a rally stage following course closing, I hit a yump. Was a gravel road. Things got quiet for a second, then I landed and was back to gravely noises. Jump was longer than it was high. Easy landing. No photo/video evidence. Just remember it like it was yesterday. Could drive to the spot right now without a map.

I have only been in one car that got air. The Cadillac catera. I know what you are thinking, that is the perfect car to ramp. But you would be wrong. After a cracked block my friend had to explain to his dad what happened to his new car. #WheelsShouldDriveNotFly

I really wish ya'll were all here in 2010 to experience an 18 year old kid jumping his truck, trashing it, and then filing a false claim about it

Jumped a 1992 Ford Crown Vic Police cruiser chasing a bad guy. Totaled it, air bags popped, my partner and I got out with minor abrasions and sore tailbones. He was laughing his ass off the whole time..... our sergeant wasn't too pleased. I spent the next three months walking a foot beat.

I thought this was going to be about which jumper cables to buy. I don't know how far off the ground you need to be before it's considered "jumping" but I've had 4 wheels off the ground a couple of times, not on purpose and not in this Tacoma. Once was a Chevy truck and once in an 85 Toyota pickup. And I'm not talking feet off the ground, more like 3 or 4 inches. I would hope this wouldn't total my Tacoma.

Save it. Ill let you know how it goes......the car will run like it never had a problem for about 6 months or so, then you realize the damage that was actually done.. the stabilizer bar turn out to have been pinched during your stunt, then eventually breaks in half dragging across the ground while you make a gentle left hand turn from a stop light. replace it, all is good. later you wonder why your tires are wearing too fast (wearing even, just too fast), turns out that all 4 struts were shot and the rear lower control arms were bent, probably also during your jumping stunt.......ask me how I know:(

sorry no video as it wasn't planned. i was just crossing an intersection and the intersection was apparently not flat.

Lol... funny story but you know I was kidding right?

I did make a Fire truck jump once in the middle of the night when I didn't see the large speed hump right after I crested a hill. That was a fun ride
