I've rode in the back of a 7-ton being jumped on many occasions. On road and offroad. The vehicle being massive really does change the way being in the air feels.

Yeah. I've never been the one at the controls in that kind of situation. It has a "this vehicle is going to go where ever it wants to" feeling as a passenger. Lighter vehicles don't give me that sensation.

The last thing I jumped was my downhill mountain bike. It had 8.5" of travel and when I used to race there was a 30' gap on the trail that you could either jump or scrub off speed and go through the creek. I quit competitive racing after a bad crash when I was 35 after I broke my elbow in two different places. I took the bike down the same trail and decided to jump the gap (meaning I have no self control obviously) and cleared it. I immediately stopped on the other side and looked back and thought to myself "why the fuck did you just do that?". I'm 45 and I could have broken a hip or something lol. I sold the bike right after that. I'm slowly getting wiser in my old age.

    *EDIT* This was the bike

I think James was also the kid that couldn't figure out why the light (security lock light) in his truck would flash intermittently? That thread was pretty damn funny also.

    Locking gas cap so far.
Working for a man who could not stop lying
Drove us all off a cliff and called it flying
    That ain?t flying

Most men flying seem to understand

That a man technically hasn?t flown ?til he lands
If you?re coming into land and you crash and die
All you really did for sure was get too high

    You ever get too high?
    No. Neither have I
