Didn't really DO anything to it yet, but I did pick these up today. Waiting on my wheels to come in then I'll see what the new shoes look like.

The bumper turned out great and is very functional, lighting added and can't wait to get it on a trail!

Nice brother... I plan to buy those also...
Have you already ordered a basket or roof rack to mount to the cross bars? Curios of the size available to be able to still use the tonneau cover for the last section as you mention?

Order them from TRDParts4U. Half the price of a regular dealership parts department.

I ordered a basket for $144. Link below. U bolts from Home depot will easily mount it to the bars.

    http://www.autoanything.com/roof-racks/rola-vortex-roof-mounted-cargo-basket

Each section of the tonneau cover is 24", so a 48" long basket is as long as you can go, and still open the last section, and only half way, as seen in the pic.

I have a Yeti cooler that will ride in the basket, so cold drinks can be accessed without opening the tail gate... and it'll look so cool having that cooler in that basket...IMO.

Those beefy hooks only come standard on the Off Road. My Sport has a cheesy recovery point but it is not as robust as the one on the off road.

Caster makes a huge difference. I have 275/70/17s and they had no rub when my caster was at 3+. I took it in for an alignment recently and the idiot tech moved my caster back to 2 on both sides and now they rub on the cab mount at full flex when reversing. I need to go back and have them adjust the caster back to 3 or more.

@JaCado... This type of behavior is unacceptable on TW! You are sworn to entice people to pour all their money down the rabbit hole! If you're going to be rational, GTFO. :D

Shrockworks sliders just delivered. Ordered on June 18. With dimpled tread plate, powder coat F8ADD91B-3940-4140-989E-97C2775D9952.jpg and shipping, came to $808. Very solid...near 65lbs each...wish she had a HEMI.

    http://www.shrockworks.com/Rock-Sliders-for-3rd-Generation-Tacoma-2016-2017-pr-16297.html

"ShrockWorks rock sliders are extremely strong. They are constructed of 2” square tubing and 1.75” round tubing. The frame mounting plates are 1/4” thick and tie into both the side and bottom of the frame. They make a geat Hi-Lift jack point."

My thoughts exactly! Most bolt on sliders have three tie down locations.

Pricing isn't bad but the 2 frame tie ins is pretty not awesome! SDHQ sliders are much more expensive than that however they are supported end to end and tie in at 4 locations.

edit... and made out of chrome-moly so lighter and VERY well made. All TIG welded too.

That's definitely not designed with a safety factor, that's too much weight to distribute in only two spots.

Shipping the mammoth box from Houston to Virginia was $174...sliders $634. Bought a bumper from them in 2009. Wanted to support the shop again.
