How did the dyno test work out yesterday?

 

Incomplete at the moment, we will share everything once we are finished

 

Have kit - yay! Can't get it to work. Booo

Anyone experienced the below?
- Drivers installed properly
- Dongle and Tactrix are being read just fine, can hear the audible ding when connecting and see them in my device list
- Can open PCM Flash software just fine and see the list of files
- Clicking on the main P5-Can... and hitting "Identification" I can immediately hear the windows "ding" signaling that I've disconnected a USB device and after some time it eventually said device isn't available.

Have tried numerous USB settings and all keep giving the same result. it just dismounts the Tactrix when I try to read anything from the ECU?

 

Try different USB cable. If htat fails, try another laptop. If that fails, the tactrix OBD2 adapter is faulty.

 

Post tune I assume?

I'd say that would be a definite gain then. With 4.88s, and the same size tire, mine doesn't accel hard enough to
chip.

 

And you've got your truck powered on? (two clicks for key or two presses for start button?)

 

Yep two presses - ignition / power on; engine off. Literally just dismounts the device when I try to read from my ECU

 

how many different drivers did you install? should be 2 in addition to the PCMflash installer

 

I'm soo close to pulling the trigger.... Hey, just put it on the credit card... It's not like your really paying for it. Wow that's a great idea, thanks mind... Somehow you're always there for me.

All good. Had to do a bunch of tinkering but have it holding connection now and reading now. Oddly had to reset the priority of the USB items from my VM to ensure Tactrix was 1 then Dongle 2 which was contrary to my logic initially. Engine read complete, transmission in progress.

 

I have 34s and can break one tire loose around the corner, not smoking it as traction control kicks in.

 

This is pissing me off. I tried 3 computers already. Installed the openport drivers and tried pcmflash. It keeps saying "USB Dongle is not accessible" rebooted/ reinstalled tried a different usb cable. Anyone have any tips?

 

I installed all the drivers listed, then skip to pcmflash, page 11. Even the drivers for the licensing software. Then it worked for me.

 

I wonder if theres a way to make the trac off button REALLY turn traction control off No more of this "only under 32 MPH" bullshit... Oh and order I am order #1907 and just received mine at my parents house this morning. Now to wait for it to ship to school

 

did you install the GUARDANT drivers? also make sure the small black USB is plugged in when you run the ECU software
