So, I have a completely stock 2015 TRD off road. I am wanting to put some larger tires on it...285's is what I would like.

Will this size fit on the stock wheels and if so, what kind of lift do I need to do to do it right?

    Thanks

OME rear shocks will work on a 15 with some modifications (grinding). I wasn't a big fan of that idea so I went another route for my 15.... I did Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners - set at 0 up front. OME 885 coils up front with a .25" spacer on the driver's side for taco lean and a 2" Deaver AAL in the rear. Here's the final result.

Good luck. There's a ton of info here and what you do to lift really depends on what you're doing with your truck. You should go for function, not form in my opinion.

Thats about what I'm after. Were you fine with that set up without aftermarket upper control arms?

Yep - stock UCA's about 2.5 inches of lift. Alignment was good - not perfect, but good.

I've got 5100 all the way around with OME 885s and a toytec add a leaf in the rear. I'm running method standard wheels with 285/70/17 ko2s with no rubbing so far and haven't don't anything but removed the mud flaps (were removed when I got the truck).

What we really need to discuss is what oil do you use in a lifted truck?
