I made some real progress this weekend. The 14Bolt is under the back end and all of the IFS components are off of the truck.

To keep the pitbulls from eating the cab I used the Ruffstuff offset spring hanger. This allowed me to push the rear axle back 3".

    Photo Aug 12, 9 13 59 PM.jpg
Of course I had to put a tire under the fender after the IFS was out on that side.

    Photo Aug 13, 1 48 25 PM.jpg
Those pitbulls don't look so big when they're tucked under.

    Photo Aug 13, 1 59 16 PM.jpg
    Buh bye IFS

    Photo Aug 13, 3 31 53 PM.jpg
The entire PS system came out in one piece. I didn't see an easy way to remove the fluid without making a mess so it all came out together.

    Photo Aug 13, 5 25 30 PM.jpg
Slowly making room for activities. Next weekend will be the plasma cutter weekend. I'm not looking forward to that at all.

Cleaned up the 60 today. If the roads aren't flooded tomorrow I'll drop it off to have the gears and locker installed.

The ARB is staying put for now. She could us a coat of paint, but she still gets the job done.

    The rest of the weekend has bee all about building space. The following has been removed from the engine bay;

    • Battery
    • NSA Switch Panel
    • ABS pump
    • Stock intake
    • Snorkel
    • All stock brake hard lines
The battery will end up in the bed. It's a good thing I just put together a big 3 kit. Now I'll have to build a really BIG 3 kit. lol

The brakes are one of my head scratchers. I'll be running new hard lines to above each diff, a soft line down to the axle, and hard lines along the axle to the hubs. I'm still working out the line sizes and fittings that will be needed.

The ABS pump went of course anyone need one?

All of this gear removal is to allow the shock towers to come through the fender wells.

So much more room for activities!

    Photo Aug 26, 6 52 33 PM.jpg
I picked up the URD CAI today to clear up space on the passenger side of the engine bay, so the stock intake is gone.

I also bought two 2wd front fenders. One reason is the gaping hole left from the snorkel and the other is lack of fender flare holes. Should be nice and clean for at least one trip. :D
