    Good Morning.

I think I've got the hunt area figured out and downloaded some maps from fish and game site to use with this Avenza app I downloaded. We'll see how it works. :fingerscrossed: New area up there we haven't hunted before.
    'cuz I care. :fistbump:

BIL in Pearland yard is flooded with some water getting in one of his bedrooms. He'll likely have some damage, but has flood insurance ... fickle bitch is pissed off down there and letting them have it. :(

    Morning all.

Sorry to hear about you BIL Rob. Hopefully he's able to get through this with just minor damage in that room - nothing more.

    48F this morning...

Later today = Pew, pew, pew at the club land. :infantry:

Good morning y'all, got some rain overnight. Not enough to help the lawn, it's shot. Going grocery shopping today, have to get more bee spray. I have a Yellow Jacket nest under my siding, above the front door. Bastards are hard to get rid of, it's all out war.

Good morning, slept 8 hours straight last night. My body is sore from staying in bed so long.

It gets cold enough to ship meat we could. Bacon of course is the main thing pork bellies is used for. That can be froze and shipped. My favorite is the one that will turn a vegan into a meat eater, bacon burnt ends. Cube up the pork belly and use a memphis rub. After a couple hours of low and slow smoke and heat remove it and add brown sugar, butter and honey. Back in the smoker for a couple of hours. Meat candy. Hoping to have a couple of pounds to do that this afternoon after I trim out for the bacon and remove the skin and still leave me with 10 pounds of bacon.

Don't think it would freeze well or how it is left over. They always disappear as soon as they come off the smoker :anonymous:

Yeah it is just me and the 2 dogs, it is a challenge cooking for only 1 when your used to cooking for 4. I eat a lot of leftovers LOL. And invite friends over often and make them take things home. Have a small chest freezer and gotten pretty good at rotating things through it. But do occasionally find a surprise at the bottom. A good vacuum sealer helps. I find myself planning out at least a week in advance anymore. Picked up a couple of chickens at Costco yesterday and will more than likely do them on the rotisserie later today and get 3 days worth of meals out of them. After I give some away.

Costco does seem to have the best meat prices and often the better cuts too. I have a good amount of storage in the house but still look at some of the things in the store and think WTH am I going to do with 3 years worth of XX.

It was a few weeks ago I burnt my neck on Costco rotisserie 4" ss exhaust. Still gives me chill down my spine thinking of it.
Those do look good. May have to try it sometime.
Maybe you should do some YouTube videos of your recipes and grilling?
