Greetings to the Tacoma Nation! I'm actually new to this, as I just bought my new truck. Been wanting to get one for a while now, and finally "pulled the trigger on it." In any case, I'm here to get tips, advice, and better understanding of the mods I can make to my truck. Not going to do much because this is a daily driver for me, so I can't go too crazy, but nothing wrong with adding rims and tires right?

Glad to be here, and cheers!

Thanks very much everyone. Anyone have an idea on what type of rims and tire combo I should go with? Stock is nice, but I'm thinking of going to 18" rims and tires, possibly TRD. Any suggestions?

Very nice. I have had mine for over 3 years and just finally ordered my first customization yesterday. Take your time, like you said it is a daily driver, and eventually you'll come up with something you want to improve upon. In the meantime, enjoy the new car smell.

Thanks for the advice Ron. I don't want to go overboard with it, but definetly want to turn some heads lol. I'm gonna start with a TRD skid plate, then go from there.

    Cheers!

Welcome to TW! Ive had good luck with the aftermarket IFS skids from Relentless/ All Pro. Correct me if im wrong but i believe they have better angles and are a tad thicker if you plan on wheeling your new rig.
