The picture attached is of my brother in laws 1993 Toyota pickup parked beside my 17 Tacoma. First off I cannot get over how much larger Tacoma's are now compared to the 93 models. The next thing is that this little 93 was brought back from the dead when my brother in law spotted it in a junk yard here in N.E Ohio with the frame rusted through and the truck broke in half. He gave them $400 for it because the body was still solid on it and took it home. At home he had a severely rusted out 86 with a good frame. He then proceeded to make a frame swap and get the engine that came with the 93 running again. That was 6 years ago and as you can see that little 93 is still running with 171000 miles and has been through 24 Ohio winters. He likes to tell me how this truck nickel and dimes him for repairs. Even when something breaks it is still cheap and easy to fix. I call it the Chicken Taco for reasons unknown to us my brother in law attached a metal Rooster to the tailgate. I thought this would be a neat story worth sharing even though I know this truck has seen better days. My brother in law still enjoys driving it and it wont surprise me if he still has it on the road for several more years.chicken truck 027.jpg

My neighbor used to have a little Toyota truck growing up. I always remembered thinking how puny it was!
