Sponsorships

Up until this forum id never seen or heard of this.

I'm familiar with sponsorships (I've had a few) with competition sports; skateboarding, motocross, downhill biking, etc. Things that require you to compete and use the sponsors gear/items.

Now with Tacomas. I've seen people getting parts sponsored (I've had people tell me I need to get sponsored for parts) for just using parts. Does the 4wd industry really just sponsor people to drive around with their stuff!?

Note: I'm not looking to get sponsored or jealous of people that are sponsored. I just find it weird shops and companies just give stuff out to random Joe's just to drive around. And I'm not talking about famous YouTube people. Just your average TW poster.

 

I only know of "FCK Lightbars" and that's pretty much a scam. What other company have you heard of doing sponsorships??
