    ABS sucks.
So as not to mangle your knees as you enter and exit the truck??? Anyone care to share some pics? I was thinking to remove the ashtray, but I'm not sure the unit fits just yet...

Don't suppose you'd have a pic of that?

That would be great but he has a first gen that doesn't have that coin tray.

The first post the OP has a second gen and shoes a pic of the controler in the coin tray. Works for all 05-15.

I'm talking about the OP of this thread that's asking where to mount it. Says he has a 2003.

I like the look of that a lot. Unfortunately it won't work that cleanly with a P3. First I don't think the P3 will fit in there, but also you would have to make a special accommodation for the manual trailer brake lever on the bottom of the controller.

Both are Stock - built correct from the start.
My automatic truck, under dash, left side of steering wheel. On our company trucks, we had 30 -37 Tacomas, we mounted them right side, under ebrake. Because the truck we're sticks and the controllers got kicked when clutching.

Don't have a pic, but a couple weeks ago I finally mounted my P3 to the outside of the coin tray. Honestly my thought was if I screw it up I can just replace the coin tray. It's working fine with the exception of the fact that it wants to pull the tray open. I'm going to have to put a latch on it or something. But I was thinking I may buy a replacement coin tray anyway, and then when I don't need the brake controller I could conceivably just remove the coin tray with the controller and put in the other one.
