Took mine to SDHQ - the labor cost was worth not having to work in my apartment parking spot, possibly messing something up or running into an issue on my daily-driver, with no coach to help out!

I did all the electrical/mod work on my sound system and big3 upgrade - the only difference was that my truck was still drivable while I learned from all the mistakes I made. :)

If all goes well, I will be installing my lift later this week. I just moved but I have the week off work so I'm going to try to get my garage set up early in the week and do the lift on Thursday or Friday. Just waiting on the Dakars to show up at this point.

If you have a decent set of tools, and a mild mechanical mindset, this is an easy project. Torque wrench is the only "special" tool you'll need. I wouldn't buy the assembled coils either, just use the jack method under the LCA=free.

    3" vertical ascension.....wheels.....tires......stuff
I like it for the economy of it, and it does have a lifetime guarantee. I think of it as a good beginner step. It's fine for right now-I haven't been pounding the trails lately, but at some point I'll probably upgrade to Fox/Icon/King.....depending on where my bank account is. I still have my stock UCA/LCA's and my alignment is spot on.
