The cars are very simular looking.
The Elva is a go kart on steroids.
The Lotus is a bigger go kart with steroids and hormones.
The Lotus is still for sale.

The easiest way to remember is the Lotus is painted lotus green.
Since she is a Lotus 30 her number is 30.
The Elva is blue.
If I saw an occasional picture I would be confused as well.

Mike what is the white car behind the Lotus?

 

The white one is a 2000 GT.
One of like 85 imported into the us back then.
They have owned 60 some odd of them. Some more than once.
They have restored quite a few THE RIGHT WAY.
Others have been restored and are no where near original.
We have the serial #1 car.


That maybe going up for sale next year.
We also have the only weather tight convertible in the world.

Good morning folks. Getting ready to start the last leg of the trip. I'll drive all the way through 2 states in less time than it took to drive half of Texas.

The temps yesterday stayed lower than 85 with most of it being mid 70's till we got to El Paso where they shot up to 102. I think were looking for 112-115 by the time we hit home. I guess the vacation is over.

 

Actually, Chuck is in the same chunk of desert but Andy may be closer.

 

I fiured she'd be there in between them somewhere. It'll be nice when she comes home if she comes home but I'll never quit worrying
