Painting shocks

My OME 886/Nitro-charge shock set-up from Toytec came in today. Just waiting for my front bearing sets to be shipped from Bama. Then the install can begin along with the 2 CV boot kits.
I'm not a big fan of OME's yellow finish on the shocks. Plus every photo I've seen of them on trucks seems to have a major chip/rust issue, so I'm gonna paint them (and maybe even the springs) this week before the install. What color would pair well with the Pyrite Mica? As you can see, the only other accent color on my Tacoma is either black or red.Not going to paint them black. So I'm thinking about red. Could also paint them Pyrite Mica as well since I work in a bodyshop. I just don't want it to look ricey. Main issue is to protect from rust so might as well change the color while I'm at it. What color do y'all think?

I vote for red also...

 

I would paint the coils red and just so flat black on the shocks. I think red shocks would look bad, but red coils would be cool. I may be biased though as my 885s are painted red.
