No beadlocks, I have never been a fan of them. Ive had two sets and they are tough to balance, super heavy and not worth the maintenance to go from 9lbs of air to 5lbs of air

Seems long for a 1st gen DC. I made mine about 79" and I can't imagine them being another 7-1/2". Could yours be for a 2nd gen DC long bed or maybe a Tundra?

On a related note, I had to take my running boards off after I installed my 285/75s because they rubbed badly when I turned. They were probably every bit of that 87" fender-to-fender.

I paid $16,900 a little more than 10 years ago. The truck had 62k miles on it when I got it, and has 121k today. Still the bullet proof go anywhere ride it was the day I got it, and I really don't ever see myself parting with it!!..

That's just an ARE DCU shell, not a Habitat. I still have the shell as I have not been putting money into the truck since I've been "retired" for over a year and saving money to put into the gas tank. It's getting a bit annoying not having cabinets and a pop top since I pull out a tent every night and have to inflate the mattress and pull out a table for the kitchen ... I did just remove the internal toolbox which now allows me to access the bed from the drivers side and gave me a whole lot more internal room.
Check out the video here where I crawl through the bed via the side doors.

On my most recent trip, I saw a Sprinter conversion that had my exact same sunroof, so I can pretty much guarantee mine is the dealer installed version. I will likely buy a piece of reflextix, some grommets and a few plastic suction cups to stick to the glass to keep the sun from heating up the interior so much. This will also allow me to roll it up and toss it behind the rear seats when I don't want it there.

My truck didn't come with front mudflaps and since I removed the silly running boards I'm getting a lot of rocks thrown onto the bottom half of the doors. What did you use to put on your trucks? @muddog67 @neegdogdig ? I'm looking at some bedliner, but it would be nice if plastidip would be thick enough to stand up to stone chips so I can remove it easily if I end up selling the truck.

Indeed, last time I was out and about was Winter... Definitely looking forward to logging some miles off the blacktop.

If you don't plan on wheeling where you would need protection from obstacles, then you really don't need them.

Who's the killer lurking in the bed?
