Oh God no, that's a Trac Performance lower arm, those arms DO NOT Go together. I saw the lowers for sale by themselves recently someone figured out it doesn't work. lol

 

Great call! I thought they looked a little odd but couldnt quite tell what lowers they were. Just got taken down

 

Hey man, if you get a chance would you mind measuring your rear kit from the outside of one ubolt plate to the outside of the other to get a total overall width? Also if you can, do you mind taking a picture of how your shocks are mounted to the axle? Thank you! Have a good one

Whats wrong with trac? Or is it just impossible to get their uppers now?

 

Mixing upper and lower control arms from different manufacturers tends to have unfavorable results.

 

Could just save some money and get a ZZR kit. I heard he's pulling some real travel numbers.

 

Anyone running urd equal length headers with tc gussets?

I picked a little mid range torque over the long tubes I was originally running. But I'm also running a trd s/c with smaller pulley, 70mm throttle body, intake, and spec-u exhaust

 

So are they worth it? Or try my hardest to blow up the 4.oh so I have an excuse to ls swap

 

If your set on running headers those are the ones I would go with. I don't see any point in running any other style header unless you're set on running oem cats or don't want to run stiffer motor mounts. Otherwise the do everything the other headers on the market do, only better.

With all that said unless you want more noise their isn't much point in running headers on a stock tacoma motor. That's $600 you could put towards an LS swap.

 

Yeah I didn't even know they were mismatched, but I guess for the right person who can build their own uppers or get one from trac if thats possible.

 

Changed the upper arm design from the tube one... goin with the plate style, pretty sure this is what I'm goin with basically
