I'm new to tacomas as well as wiring, so I'm looking for some advice.
I mounted and connected my PIAA ditch lights the other weekend and plugged them in to the switch that CBI sold with their brackets. That was a 3-prong switch but didn't fit my blank spot (using the blank to the right of the rear window button). Anyways, I got a push switch from CH4X4 and it is a 4 wire switch. I plugged the 3 wires in (power, accessory, ground) and it works fine but the switch stays illuminated no matter what state the truck is in. I know this is where I need to tap into a fuse for a dash light but this is where I'm stuck.
I purchased an add a fuse from autozone and it seems easy enough to use, but which fuse is best to use? I can't find a description of what they all are, but it looks like the 7.5 amp fuse labeled "tail" might work? But is 7.5 A large enough?
Any advise would be greatly welcomed, thanks to anyone who can help!

Thanks daddy_o, do you recommend disconnecting the battery before removing fuses?

I disconnect the battery on anything when doing electrical work. It only takes a minute.
