Is there such things as an SR5 TRD OR

I'm no expert on the Taco, but I thought SR5 and TRD were different and mutually exclusive. Since getting my first TACO I've been paying more attention to the others I see on the road and lately I've seen a lot of TRD OR with SR5 on the back. Is that actually a model or are SR5 owners just sticking a TRD sticker on the side?

 

All Tacomas from 1st Gen to 3rd Gen that are TRD has the SR5 option included.

 

3rd gen SR5s have side pillar emblems. Never have I seen them on the tailgate

 

My 09 TRD sport had SR5 tailgate badge but not my previous 14 TRD sport.

 

SR5 used to be a package but now is its own Model.

 

Where on the back are you seeing SR5?

The OR chrome grill was too much and i.like the classic look if the SR5 grille

 

What Shakerhood said the SR5 model from the 1st and 2nd gen use to include the TRD off road or TRD sport as a package to add on to the SR5 model.
Now the 3rd gens have them all as separate models.
The second gen had the SR5 badging on the tailgate and the TRD decals on the side if it had one of the TRD packages.

I believe the 1st gens only had the TRD off road package that added the rear locker and there wasn't a TRD sport package until the second gens arrived.

I think it must be 2nd gens. There is an SR5 emblem on the right side of the tailgate. I guess since I bought a 3rd gen it was one or the other. To my knowledge, I couldn't get an SR5 with the TRD options. I guess with the 2nd gens you could.

 

My 2000 had the SR5 Option and the OR Package, if memory serves me I don't think you could buy an OR that did not have the SR5 Option package.

 

Only 05-11 2nd gens had them on TRDs.
