I have driven the Nissan Frontier Crew Cab for several years, but this year opted for a four door 2017 Tacoma SR5 with 5' body. So far I love this truck, it has every feature I need with the exception of Navigation. It has the Towing package which is really nice. Nice ride and I know I will enjoy it and reading all the information about Tacoma's on Tacoma World!2017-08-29 05.39.56.jpg

Welcome! Im a new Tacoma owner myself, just bought this one....
I almost went with a new Nissan frontier double cab, as I like the one my father in law owns, but the deal breaker was Nissans crappy turning radius, and the quality of interior, and reliability of Toyota is just better all the way around. I frickin LOVE my Tacoma

What were your reasons for unloading the Frontier?

Lately, it appears the Frontier is more reliable than the Tacoma.

I didnt unload a frontier, my father in law owned one. I drove it alot. Hated the turning radius....never said the frontiers were unreliable, just my opinion based on two things: 1. I have driven my two previous yotas both well over 300k with zero issues, and driven hard at that. 2. I know several gaugers who work in the oil industry who use frontiers and they have had issues, nothing major, just minor things but still.
Its just my opinion, not wanting to debate my opinions, theyre just my opinions thats all. If Frontiers truly are such a fine truck, then we best go trade our tacomas in straight away ;)

Gulzeb, i stand corrected. I guess i was a bit trigger happy as i have been a member on Jalopy Journal for 18 years. Its turned into a drama forum with a bunch of know it alls, and lots of guys who basically spend all day on the forum, challenging everything people post to display their infinite wisdom lol....I should give this forum the benefit of the doubt- my apologies
