I am presently shopping for a truck and I am very interested in the Tacoma. I"m hoping to purchase a 18 - 20 foot camper trailer at the end of the year and was just wondering if the 6 cylinder Tacoma would do the job. I love the mountains and I'm looking for a camper that weighs less than 3000 lbs. What do I need to consider besides weight and engine power? Would appreciate any suggestions or tips.

Welcome. I would make sure whatever truck you purchase has the right amount of towing capacity for the trailer you want. That is something a reputable dealer can help you with. But don't just stick with one dealer
